Removing an INK smily face from my couch

removing pen from couch

My daughter Kyla is almost two and a half. Her new thing is drawing happy faces. She draws them all the time. She's very proud and we are very proud of her! Last night she decided to draw a happy face on our two month old ivory leather couch…YIKES!  I washed it with soap and water and it faded it quite a bit (as you can see in the picture) I then googled it and found a few different things to try. I tried fantastic and that didn't work, so then I grabbed an alcohol wipe that I had and gave it a try. I couldn't believe it worked!!

It's funny, I've been really nervous about this couch for the fact that ink was the biggest problem with having a light couch. The reason we didn't get it the extra warranty was because it didn't cover ink damage. Im sooooo happy I was able to erase the giant happy face on the arm of my couch:) Hope this helps another parent with a toddler who loves to put her/his artwork anywhere
