Stella and Dot Spring Style

I am loving the new Stella and Dot spring styles. My favorite necklace has to be the ELODIE. Loving the colors...great for spring!

The AMELIE bracelet with glass crystals sparkle with your choice of peach, gold or silver. Hard to chose, but I think I love the peach for spring.

New Years Eve Sparkle

Here are some ideas to add a little sparkle into your wardrobe on New Year's Eve.  I just love how there are so many options for the ladies living in Canada now! The dresses are from Nordstrom.

Cauliflower Rice

I couldn't believe how this turned out. Normally, I don't like cauliflower but I could eat so much of it done this way! Give it a try and let me know what you think:)

1 Tablespoon of olive oil

1 cup of chopped onion

1 large cauliflower 

1 tsp garlic

1 cup chopped red pepper

1 cup chopped green pepper

1 cup chopped mushrooms

1 can of diced tomatoes (juice included)

1 tsp coriander

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp oregano or basil

1/2 tsp chili flakes

 pepper

1/2 cup chopped cilantro

1/2 of a fresh squeezed lime

Grate cauliflower and set aside. 

Heat oil and add onion, garlic, red pepper, green pepper and mushrooms. Fry until slightly softened. 

Add your spices, except for cilantro. Stir and cook for another minute.

Add your cauliflower and fry for about 10 minutes and then add your canned tomatoes. Continue to cook until your cauliflower is softened.

Remove from heat and add cilantro and lime

Enjoy!

As soon as we saw the Gilmore knobs and pulls from Restoration Hardware, we knew they were the ones. I'm so happy with how the new cabinets have turned out!
We decided not to replace the backsplash, so we painted it. It turned out really good. I'll be posting before and after pictures of the kitchen soon:)

Cherry Chia Smoothie~ YUM!

I love trying different combinations for smoothies. Sometimes they are a hit with the kids and sometimes not so much haha. Here is one my kids LOVE. Enjoy!

Cherry Chia Smoothie

1 banana 1cup Kale 1 tbsp Chia Seeds 1 cup frozen cherries(I bought them from Costco) 6 large (I used frozen) strawberries Approx 2 cups of Almond Milk (depending on how thick you like it you can adjust.

Kitchens I Heart

I am in love with Pinterest right now, and wish it was around when we bought our current home about 10 years ago. I am really drawn to greys and whites these days. We are almost done with our cabinet redo from ginger maple cabinets to white. My husband is in the renovation business, so I am a very lucky lady!  Here are some of my favourite kitchen inspirations.
